Course Overview
The CIBTAC Level 2 Award in Facial Skincare is aimed at preparing Learners to enter the beauty therapy sector as a beauty therapist. The units within this qualification have been mapped to the National Occupational Standards and relate specifically to the job role of a beauty therapist.

This practical and knowledge-based programme combines hands-on facial skincare techniques with essential theoretical understanding to develop competent practitioners capable of delivering safe, effective and professional facial treatments. The qualification has been mapped against National Occupational Standards and reflects the skills, knowledge and behaviours required within the professional complementary therapy industry.
Learners will develop technical proficiency in facial treatments, gain a sound understanding of anatomy and physiology, and learn professional health and safety practices necessary to operate successfully within wellness, spa, salon and complementary therapy environments.
Course Aim
To develop professionally competent facial skin care therapists who possess the practical skills, theoretical knowledge and professional behaviours required to safely deliver facial treatments within beauty therapy and complementary therapy settings.
